These are the sleek aluminium faced (or sometimes black or blue) boxes that form the heart of any multi-room system. They take the input from multiple sources and distribute it to all the rooms on the Living Control network. All our CPUs are complete with powerful, high quality, load tolerant, balanced output power amplifiers on each channel. Long cable runs (in suitable cable) and unusual loads such as speakers in parallel are no problem to them. The extremely capable power supplies are more than able to feed the power amps with all the current that they need to produce a powerful and detailed sound. From the days of the very first installations our CPUs have proved exceptionally reliable.

3HREE

3HREE is Living Control’s most affordable CPU, designed to deliver the sound from your audio system into three further rooms in your home. It has inputs for up to four audio sources, like DAB Tuner, CD, DVD, Sky Box and built in high quality amplifiers for each room.
Like other Living Control products, 3HREE is compatible with affordable multi-disc changers from the popular manufacturers, and lets you select up to 250 CDs, DVDs, radio or TV Stations alphabetically via a Living Control DisplayPad in each room. 3HREE will work in concert with video distribution systems, so you can bring audio and video together at the push of a button. Like other Living Control products, 3HREE delivers high quality sound, thanks to its advanced design and excellent specifications.
3HREE is about the same size as a Midi CD player (360mm wide), and finished in matt silver.
Installation is easy: a selection of pre-terminated cables is available to connect the various components, and the easy-to-use instructions are supported by a service help-line. Alternatively, your installer will be happy to fit 3HREE into your life, for a new way to enjoy audio around the home.

MRS

MRS propels the idea of home entertainment to a new dimension: high quality hi-fi sound in no fewer than six rooms from six sources. You can listen to CD, DVD, digital TV, DAB tuner, VCR and mini disc for instance by simply touching a Living Control DisplayPad or VideoPad touch screen in any room. MRS will work in concert with video distribution systems, so you can bring audio and video together at the push of a button. Effectively, MRS lets you enjoy your system anywhere in the home, with control over track, station and volume. It’s like having a system in every room, without the ugly boxes and CD racks. Essentially, you keep the music and loose the hi-fi. Simple, elegant, sophisticated.
With MRS you need only one system for your home. Your system components can be neatly stowed out of sight and away from prying fingers. Even loudspeakers can be discretely located out of sight or mounted in the ceiling. MRS liberates your living space and your décor. Your home will look and feel bigger, but your music will always be there.
The “MRS” CPU has inputs for up to six audio sources and built-in high quality amplifiers for six rooms. Additional power amplifiers can be added if higher output power is required. The CPU not only controls the volume and sound source in every room, it also allows you to select a specific track, station or channel by name. Discs in multi-disc players are automatically catalogued alphabetically so that they can be accessed easily by title or artist. Simply scroll through the selections and choose the one you want. It couldn’t be easier.

EVENT!

EVENT! allows you to think in new ways about home entertainment. Not only does it give you control over six sound sources is six rooms, including video sound from a Sky Box or digital TV, but also lets you enjoy them through your home theatre system, and gives you remote control from the comfort of your favourite armchair. Choose from up to 660 CDs, channels or stations in any of the six rooms by touching a Living Control DisplayPad or VideoPad, or by using a remote control. EVENT! will work in concert with video distribution systems, so you can bring audio and video together at the push of a button You can even control lights and curtains with EVENT!’s automatic time control feature for the ultimate in convenience and luxury.
Scroll though selections in multi-disc CD or DVD players alphabetically. Discs are automatically catalogued by EVENT! in alphabetical order no matter where they are located in the multi-disc player.
EVENT! gives you both the time and space to really enjoy entertainment at home. EVENT! replaces the untidy collection of radios and audio components that clutter up most living rooms, dining rooms, kitchens and bedrooms with compact, décor-matching DisplayPads and VideoPads. All your CDs can be stored safely in one place rather than being distributed throughout the house.
Your system components can be hidden and away from prying fingers. Even loudspeakers can be discreetly located out of sight or mounted in the ceiling.
EVENT! also provides four fully independent “wake-up” timers in each room. Throughout the week, wake up to high quality audio from CD, DVD, DAB tuner, digital TV, VCR or mini-disc for instance at a time of your choosing. Change the setting at weekends, or for an especially early appointment. Select a different CD or radio station for each day of the week. You choose the time, the room and the music. Living Control’s EVENT! controls lights and even curtains in any of the six EVENT! rooms. So you can make to house look occupied when you’re away.
EVENT! has a sleep timer in every room, which gently fades the audio after 45 minutes.
